I am Gregory Rossetti, known as Il Gregorio. Every violin is built with the classic Cremonese method, balancing precision, projection, and a living tone.
I graduated from the School of Luthier in Cremona in 1995. This portfolio presents some of the instruments I have made by hand, following the principles of classic Cremonese violin making.
Characteristic, like history that is handed down.
Being enchanted by villages and historic streets is common, and they, like Muses, inspire my work.
In my atelier, I create my artistic works with delight. I dedicate myself to the art of violin making with passion, shaping each instrument from selected tonewoods and decades of craft discipline.
